Field of View Staff
David Stillman - Director
David has been the director of Field of View since its return to the floor in 2008. During his high school years at Downingtown HS, he remembers going to and watching the WGI Regionals that were held at Downginton. One of David's first indoor guard experiences was watching Field of View's Sorcerer's Apprentice show, and from that moment on, he was addicted to the marching activity.
After graduating from West Chester University in 1996, David began his color guard teaching career. He has taught at several scholastic programs including Clearview HS, Downingtown HS, OJ Roberts HS, and Ridley HS . David was also privileged to be the director of Bpex Winter Guard from 2003 - 2007.

Jen Arnst - Technical Team
Jen was thrilled to rejoin the staff of Field of View in 2010. She was a founding member of Field of View's instructional staff in 1989, the guard's first year. She also taught two additional seasons during the 1990's.
Jen has instructed marching band and indoor guard at many local high schools including Norristown, Methacton, Ridley, Garnet Valley, Downingtown, Owen J. Roberts, and Phoenixville. She was also a member of the guard staff for the West Chester University Golden Rams Marching Band, of which she is an alumnus.
Throughout high school and college, she marched in all age drum and bugle corps, indoor guard, and aged out as a member of the horn line in The Phantom Regiment Drum and Bugle Corps.
Jen is a guidance counselor at Owen J. Roberts High School in Pottstown, PA where she is also advisor for the Wildcat Ambassador Club and the Gay Straight Alliance. She also volunteers with several local animal welfare organizations on weekends and in the summer. She lives in Phoenixville with her fuzzy family members including Mr. Wags, 4 cats named Panther, Kitty, Batman, and Mr. Fuzz.

Amy Buddock - Technical Team
Amy is an alumnus of Field of View. She was a member of the guard from 1996 thru 1999. Amy's other marching experiences include Crossmen 1994-1999, Just Class 2001, Reading Bucaneers 2001, WCU Marching Band 1995-1998, and Blessed Sac 2003.
Amy has been a staff member of West Chester University's Marching Band since 1999. She was also a part of the Crossmen staff in 2000, Magic of Orlando in 2002, and Henderson High School from 2004-2008.
In the "real world", Amy is happily married and a mom to a beautiful daughter and son. She is also a Kindergarten teacher at East Goshen Elementary School in the West Chester Area School District.

Crystal Butler - Technical Team
She began her color guard career at Owen J Roberts High School located in Pottstown, Pennsylvania. She continued her passion for color guard at the Reading Buccaneers Drum and Bugle Corps (2012) and progressed to perform with FOV (2014, 2015, 2018, & 2019). Crystal has also been the Director at Pottsgrove High School since 2019.
During her time outside of the activity, Crystal received her undergraduate degree in Disability Studies from Millersville University and her Master’s in Social Work from West Chester University. She is currently an MSW/LSW School Social Worker at a local district in her area. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her golden retriever, Oakley and seeing what outside adventures have to offer including kayaking, hiking, and camping.
She is beyond excited and humbled to teach at Field of View, an organization that has taught her so much more than just color guard. Field of View has proved time and time again that it is not only a place to spin but a place to join a true family.

McKenna Clark - Social member Manager
McKenna began her color guard career during her freshman year at Glen Burnie High School located in Central Maryland. She participated in the marching band and indoor color guard programs from 2006 to 2010, serving as a captain during her Junior and Senior years.
After high school, McKenna went on to march with Cpex Winter Guard in 2011. She then marched with Field of View from 2013 to 2018 where she served as a captain for the 2017 & 2018 seasons, and was the first recipient of the FOV Michelle Owens Memorial Scholarship in 2018. McKenna also performed in Contemporary Color with Field of View and spent a season with the Reading Buccaneers, both in 2015.
Field of View is home for McKenna and she is beyond excited to work beside those who have taught her so much as well as share her passion and knowledge with the cast members!

Maria Deluca - Technical Team
Maria’s first memory of Field of View was the “Dance Macabre” show. She remembers wondering how anyone could be that good. Once she started performing herself, she found out it took a lot of hard work (especially when you’re all of 4’11!!).
Maria marched in Norristown High School’s marching band and indoor guard from 1992-1996. After graduating, Maria went on to teach at CB West HS, Plymouth Whitemarsh HS, and most recently helped at Owen J. Roberts HS.
In “real life”, Maria is a math teacher at Plymouth Whitemarsh High school where she is also co-sponsor of the French club. She’s also a proud auntie to three nieces and a nephew with whom she loves spending her free time. She’s honored to be on staff with an organization with such a great history!

Missy Dow - Technical Team
Missy Shaw Dow picked up her first piece of color guard equipment in 1981. Her storied past includes marching with memorable Lehigh Valley area guards including Rising Star, Northampton High School, and the Classics, as well as New Jersey's Bushwackers Senior Drum Corps. Missy marched with Field of View in 1994 as a member of the rifle line and returned as part of the technical staff in 1995 and 1996. When Field of View returned to competition in 2009, Missy rejoined the technical staff and has been on board ever since. In addition to teaching Field of View, Missy taught Norristown High School and WGI Independent A class finalists, the Classics.
When not making the equipment go around together, Missy is a wife and mother to a daughter, twin sons, and two cats. All except the cats are avid Phillies fans. She is an Instructional Technology Specialist for Exeter Township School District.

Shannon Hall - Design Team
Shannon has actively been involved in the marching arts across the Mid-Atlantic area. Performing with both The Black Watch and the Reading Buccaneers.
Shannon has thought consulted with a variety of groups. He has worked with Pennsauken HS (NJ), Allentown HS (NJ), Broadneck HS (MD), and William Penn HS (DE). Since 2013, Shannon has been a designer/choreographer for Middletown HS, in Middletown, Delaware, teaching their Cavaliers Marching Band, Scholastic Intermediate and Scholastic A Indoor Guards. He has helped these groups achieve numerous awards and accolades, and will continue to develop and grow the Middletown programs.

Tyler Leynes - Design Team
Tyler is excited to be a part of the staff for Field of View. Returning as an alumni, his previous marching experience includes a mix of both outdoor and indoor units, including: Jersey Surf, The Cavaliers, and the Reading Buccaneers for outdoor and Cpex, Black Watch, and Field of View for indoor. Tyler’s previous teaching experience includes choreographing and/or teching various high schools throughout Maryland, Towson University Marching Band, and Towson University Winterguard. He hopes to bring his technical skills and understanding of movement to the group to further enhance their foundation and their performance in the Open Class arena.
Eric Schrader - Design Team
Eric Schrader is a native of Quakertown, Pennsylvania. While in Pennsylvania, Eric attended and graduated from West Chester University of Pennsylvania with a degree in Elementary Education. While at WCU, Eric marched with Field of View Independent World Class Color Guard (1996-1998). During the summer, Eric marched with Cadets of Bergen County Drum and Bugle Corps (1996-1999).
After graduating from undergraduate studies, Eric relocated to Boston, Massachusetts. Living in Boston, Eric pursued a career in teaching with the Boston Public Schools. Eric completed his graduate studies with Walden University, graduating with a degree in Masters of Science in Elementary Education, Reading and Literacy.
While living in Boston, Eric marched in St. Ann’s Independent World Class Color Guard (1999-2002) and Blessed Sacrament Independent World Class Color Guard (2004 and 2014). Eric also was an instructor for St. Ann’s Independent Open Class Color guard. As well, Eric was an instructor with Blessed Sacrament’s Independent World Class Color Guard (2006-2015).
During the summer months Eric was an instructor at Boston Crusaders Drum and Bugle Corps (2000 and 2002). As well, Eric was an instructor at 7th Regiment Drum and Bugle Corps (2012), later becoming Color Guard Caption Head (2013-2015). Eric has worked with North Penn High School since the Fall of 2017.
After graduating from undergraduate studies, Eric relocated to Boston, Massachusetts. Living in Boston, Eric pursued a career in teaching with the Boston Public Schools. Eric completed his graduate studies with Walden University, graduating with a degree in Masters of Science in Elementary Education, Reading and Literacy.

Nicholas Tavares - Design Team
Nicholas resides in Wilmington, Delaware and is very involved in the color guard activity in the area. He is currently the Color Guard Caption Head of the Reading Buccaneers Drum and Bugle Corps, the 2018 Drum Corps Associates World Champion and has been in that position since 2015. He is also the color guard director at Middletown High School in Middletown, Delaware and has led the group to numerous award and accolades over the last seven years. In the past, Nicholas has been fortunate to have worked with a number of groups in the Mid-Atlantic region to including Black Watch Color Guard, Cab Calloway School of the Arts, William Penn High School, McKean High School, Brandywine High School, Apex, Bpex and Cpex Winter Guard, Haverford High School, Ridley High School and Mount Pleasant High School. Nicholas has had an extensive marching career to include, Reading Buccaneers 2009-2011, Black Watch Color Guard 2009-2010, Apex Winter Guard 1999-2003, 2005-2008, Cavaliers Drum and Bugle Corps 2000 and Brandywine High School 1996-1998.
Nicholas holds a degree in Early Childhood Education and Development and is the Program Coordinator at the Siegel Jewish Community Center: Early Childhood Center in Wilmington, Delaware.
Nicholas is extremely passionate about the performing arts and is honored to working with Field of View this winter.
