The 2011 edition of the Field of View Winter Guard presented “FLIGHT” “FLIGHT” is a fast paced journey through the layers of air ,the motivation for flight, from ground level to space and back to earth as the journey comes to a calm end. The multi-dimensional show begins on a beautiful day with just a flicker of a breeze. Watch as the breeze grows and transforms itself into wind taking unseen entities into flight. The show moves from the unseen to the seen…..butterflies taking flight…..birds taking flight…..airplanes taking flight…..and eventually flight into space. The show is presented in six beautifully woven segments enhanced with a progression of flags that will help take the audience on our journey. The costumes and performers represent air and wind, while the floor design represent a small portion of the jet stream and isobars, all motivating factors in taking “Flight”.
